Ah-ha!
I can't colour worth BEANS but THATS OKAY!
Inspired by a bit of log, wot follows.
* Hotspike blinks several times, registering what Netrunner just told him. " Are you saying that you created that thing just so you'd have something to throw darts at?" The idea of wasting so much effort on something completely tricial like that causes a small sneer of disgust to appear on the black seeker's face.
* The small mech frowns, and makes a face at the bikefemme before he goes to pick up his dart. Turning about, he eyes the little robot for a long moment before hucking the dart at it. With a little feeling, this time. "Why not?"
* The dart sticks this time, lodged into the joint where the leg meets the body. There's an electronic screeching noise for five or six seconds, which rises in volume and pitch. When it stops, the thing locks up, and simply explodes.
* The little sailplane falls back against the box and starts laughing, one hand held up over his visor band and the other keeping him from sliding off hte corner and clattering to the floor.
* Recall just fits Netrunner with a dark glare for creating the noise. She doesn't say anything for a long moment, watching him lol. Without taking her optics off him, she scoops up one of the little packing peanuts she's saved and rubs it between her fingers. Squeek.
* Hotspike stares blankly at the smoldering ruins of the little drone, before shifting his gaze back and forth between both Recall and Netrunner. "Well, I think that would be a good example as to why not, nevermind that you could do something useful or possibly even productive with your time, instead of wasting it on toys and hiding in your slagging crate.
* Netrunner uselessly pitches one of the defective darts at Recall; it falls a couple feet short. "Just 'cause you're an imbecil and don't understand what you're looking at; " he states quite plainly. " doesn't mean you can get off with insulting me." He turns to look up towards Hotspike, a grin crossing his face as his visor slides back with a k-shk, to reveal highly amused, bright red optics. "'sides, I might get steppe on if I wasn't in a damn box. Likely as not someone your size'd not even see me sittin' in the floor."
* Recall grins at the reaction. She subs the packing peanut away and returns to her work, she's mostly done by now, the hardest stuff already finished.

ya know... i didn't notice it so much in the black and white version, but now with color it looks like her chest (the front of the bike mode) is grinning at the viewer... which actually kinda adds to her expression. :3 also... the log adds lots of context that makes this all make a bit more sense. XD
